Every batch of shrub is made with different seasonal fruit. This delicious shrub has a bright red colour and a lively sour with a little sweet fruit complex flavour. This blend is made using honey from Malfroy Honey and a blend of Tasmanian raspberries, homemade rosewater (roses grown organically in Kangaroo Valley), and native rosella flowers for a sour twist. It will be great for refreshing summer drinks & adult pink lemonades - just add vodka! Like all my shrubs - it was made by fermenting the fruit wildly with honey and then adding apple cider vinegar with the mother. It’s highly active so expect a little fizz in your bottle and make sure to keep in the fridge once opened!

Serving Suggestions

Add to still or fizzy water like a cordial! Or add a good splash to a jug with vodka, ice, soda water or lemonade and a sprig of mint for a grown up pink lemonade! It would also work great in a sweet salad dressing over grilled haloumi, baby spinach, cherry tomatoes and sliced peaches or other favourite fruit. Summer is here!
